A century-old water main burst in West Hollywood early Thursday, flooding streets, damaging property and vehicles, and creating a massive sinkhole near Sunset Boulevard.

A crucial stretch of Sunset Boulevard is expected to reopen Friday, just over a week after a broken water main sent millions of gallons of water rushing through West Hollywood streets.
